Portrait Days
'Portrait days' are set aside each season
in which we book hour long portrait sessions all that day
at a particular
location such as a park, by the lake, or other venue.
Have your portrait taken on one of these days and there is
no sitting fee.
A minimum a-la-carte portrait order of $200.00 is required. |
Individual Portrait Sessions
Many times a 'Portrait day'
does not fit with your timetable and we are happy to photograph on location
at any time with an appointment.
A Sitting fee of $200.00 is requested as well as an a-la-carte portrait
order. At every Portrait Session, numerous photographs and poses
are taken. Portraits can be of one or more people and groupings.

Astor Studio Photography News: Our
in-studio digital printing features the latest technology.
Prints are now guaranteed to last 100 years, up to 200 if framed
properly. Ask about our conservation framing and interior
decor services. Until now, the only way to have a print last
this long was to have a B&W silver print. Now you can have both
Colour and B&W - 'genealogy in pictures' that can be passed down
intact to the next generation.
Also, Astor Studio, now entering
its third generation of image creation, originally located
in Bowmanville Ontario, from the 50's to the 80's. Trina
Photography and Astor Studio in the 90's to the present. If you
were photographed by Gottlieb Astor, 1920-2006, many negatives
(wedding and others) are now available from those years after
having been in storage. Because of the storage conditions by my
late father, it can take considerable time to search, therefore
we may need to add a search fee, if they are not easily found.
You can imagine how much room they take up though, so we may
only have these on file for another year or so, depending on the
demand. He kept his promise though and had them until his
passing. He was very impressed with the digital age, and
expressed the desire to thank friends and clients for a great
career! He inspired many budding photographers in his lifetime.
If you would like updated prints,
please let us know. Negative scanning to digital format, please
add $25.00 for the first print. Preserve your precious memories
with our new Archival Printing. We also copy and restore
photographs for which negatives do not exist. Time to
update any photographs that may have faded, until now colour
photographs were not expected to last beyond 30 years.

Photographs are edited for
colour and cropping, and minor retouching is done at the discretion of the
photographer. Extensive retouching is available at an additional charge

Wedding Anniversaries, Birthday Parties,

Photography fee includes the photographer covering an entire event in which
a series of images will be taken.
If the event includes a
luncheon or dinner the photographer is seated with the guests and covers the
various presentations and activities in as unobtrusive a manner as possible.
Photographs of tables and candids of guests can be included as well as
Portraits and other images you request. |
