2007  Astor Studio -Photography News:   Gottlieb Astor passed from this stage of life in October 2006.

Also, Astor Studio, now entering its third generation  of image creation, originally located in Bowmanville Ontario, from the 50's to the 80's. Trina Photography and Astor Studio in the 90's to the present.

If you were photographed by my father, Gottlieb Astor, 1920-2006, many negatives (wedding and others) are now available from those years after having been in storage. Because of the storage conditions by my late father, it can take considerable time to search, therefore we may need to add a search fee, if they are not easily found. You can imagine how much room they take up though, so we may only have these on file for another year or so, depending on the demand.

Gottlieb kept his promise though and had the negatives until his passing. He was very impressed with the digital age, and expressed the desire to thank friends and clients for a great career! He inspired many budding photographers in his lifetime. We are preparing an online tribute and look back at the photography of his day, please check back, there is a great deal to digitize and so it will take time to put together.
